Test and Audit
It Is Essential That…
All ESD control systems perform reliably. In accordance with the BS EN 61340-5-1 Standard, periodic audits of facilities, procedures and practices should be carried out in accordance with the instructions given. It also states that a nominated person or team using appropriate measuring equipment shall undertake the required periodic audits and checks. The ESD co-ordinator is required to test all ESD protection systems within the EPA and the humidity and temperature should also be recorded at the time of the test.
A typical audit will include those areas indicated, the frequency shown is that recommended in BS EN 61340-5-1.
