Trading Terms and Conditions

• Teknis Limited reserves the right to amend specifications without issuing prior notice.
  
  
• Prices exclude VAT and carriage and packing unless otherwise specified on the order acknowledgement.
  
  
• Damaged or faulty goods must be advised to Teknis Limited within four days of receipt.
  
  
• Non receipt of goods must be advised to Teknis Limited within ten days of the despatch date.
  
  
• Teknis Limited reserves the right to refuse delivery of returned goods unless prior written acceptance of such return has been issued by Teknis Limited.
  
  
• Teknis cannot accept any liability in respect of delivery dates (which are business estimates only), nor can it guarantee that prices quoted at the present time will hold good when an order is executed, but will endeavour to fulfil promises of delivery and will not ask for any increase in price unless it is fully justified by the circumstances. All delivery periods date from the time the order is received by Teknis Limited. All orders are accepted as firm orders and cancellations can only be accepted if Teknis Limited has previously given consent in writing. Where cancellation is accepted, Teknis Limited shall, in addition to any express terms of acceptance of cancellation, be entitled to reimbursement of any costs incurred by Teknis Limited in connection with the contract.
  
  
• Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate amendments to delivery schedules, Teknis Limited reserves the right to deliver and invoice in accordance with the last agreed delivery dates.
  
  
• Teknis Limited reserves the right to ship product from the due date of despatch as it becomes available "Title" to the goods will pass to the buyer when payment has been credited to "Teknis" bank.
  
  
• Payment must be made within 30 days of the invoice date. Interest at the rate of 2% per month will be charged on overdue accounts.
  
  
• Teknis Limited reserves the right to withhold supplies to enforce payment of overdue accounts without prejudice to the right to supply goods as ordered and enforce payment for such supplies.
  
  
• Prices quoted are based on the exchange rate shown over but the right is reserved to adjust those prices to any variation of this exchange rate ruling on the date of despatch.
  
  
• Goods sent outside the United Kingdom will only be insured to the port of despatch by Teknis Limited.
  
  
• Special items manufactured to your requirements will be subject to our manufacturing tolerances and specifications unless specifically agreed in writing. Teknis Limited reserves the right to delivery plus or minus 10% of the ordered quantity of such items.
  
  
• Teknis Limited accepts no responsibilities for loss or injury resulting from the use of its products. The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the product is suitable for the application and that adequate safety precautions are observed.
  
  
• There is a minimum order charge of £50, plus VAT and carriage and packing.
  
  
• Agreement. These conditions are the only conditions upon which Teknis Limited is prepared to deal with its buyer, and they shall govern the contract to the entire exclusion of any other express or implied conditions and together with the matters referred to on the face of Teknis' quotation and/or acceptance of order embody the entire understanding of the parties and supersede any prior promises, representations, undertakings or implications. These conditions may only be modified by a variation in writing signed on behalf of Teknis Limited by an authorised person (save that Teknis Limited reserves the right to correct clerical errors) and no other action on the part of.
  
  
• Teknis Limited (whether delivery of the goods or otherwise) shall be construed as an acceptance of any other conditions and no contract shall be concluded until Teknis Limited despatches an acknowledgement of order to the buyer. Any quotation, in whatever form, given to the buyer is given subject to these conditions and does not constitute an offer to sell.
