Electrostatic field meters are designed to detect and measure static electricity in environments where electrostatic discharge (ESD) must be carefully controlled, such as ESD Protected Areas (EPAs), electronics manufacturing facilities, cleanrooms, computer rooms, and hospitals. By measuring electrostatic fields in volts per metre, these instruments help identify sources of static charge that could damage sensitive electronic components.
